Falco is the new Austrian Beauty Champion

The Dukes of the South kennel is delighted to share the wonderful success of our Beagle Falco. At the international triple dog show in Klagenfurt, Austria, by Lake Wörthersee, held on July 4 and 5, 2026, Falco achieved a significant milestone. In the working class, he won 2 x CAC, thereby successfully fulfilling all conditions for the award of the prestigious title of Austrian Champion.

Klagenfurt welcomed us with a pleasant show atmosphere and excellent organization in a picturesque setting by the lake. For our Falco, it was a demanding but highly successful weekend. Competing against other hunting dogs, he presented himself with the complete composure and professionalism that is typical of him.

The judges in the ring particularly praised his harmonious body structure, typical exterior conforming to the standard, and also his excellent movement mechanics in trot. Falco showed himself in great condition and confirmed that working qualities in Beagles can be perfectly combined with an elegant exterior. The two CAC awards won in the working class were a well-deserved reward for his balanced performance.

This success is another confirmation for our Dukes of the South kennel of the right direction in our breeding. Falco brings us immense joy not only with his results, but above all with his friendly and balanced temperament, which he demonstrated throughout the entire show weekend.
