🇫🇮 Finland and Scandinavia: Masters of Health and Functionality Scandinavians are known for their scientific approach to breeding – they pay extreme attention to health (hip X-rays, genetic tests) while maintaining a premium appearance.

Daragoj (Finland): Eeva Resko is a legendary breeder whose dogs from this kennel are synonymous with the "perfect head". Finnish blood from Daragoj is highly valued in the Czech Republic as a breath of fresh air to improve expression and coat quality.

🇵🇱 Poland and Hungary: European Excellence Within Reach Our neighbors have made a huge leap in the last 10 years and are now among Europe's elite. Their lines are represented very frequently in the Czech Republic and are of very high quality.

Szephegyi-Szimat (Hungary): A kennel that produces world winners. Their dogs are very typical, compact, and have a fantastic "show drive".

Simonaland (Hungary/International): Very influential bloodline that is often crossed with American lines, creating a modern, very attractive Beagle.

Absolutely Spotless (Poland): A kennel that managed to build a Beagle empire in Poland with international reach.

💎 Promising Lines for Czech Breeding (A Look into the Future) Looking at the beagleclub.cz database, one can estimate where the untapped potential lies that could push Czech breeding a step further:

1. Pure Finnish Lines (Daragoj) Although Finnish blood is well-known in Europe, it appears less frequently in pure form or in close generations in Czech pedigrees than before. Importing or studding in Finland could bring robust health and excellent pigmentation, in which Scandinavian dogs excel.

2. Top Italian (Fonteposca) The Italian kennel Fonteposca is currently one of the strongest players in Europe. Their dogs combine American elegance with Italian charm and temperament. In Czech breeding, this bloodline could significantly improve the topline and neck carriage—details that make champions.

3. New British "Show" Lines Many Czech lines are built on historical British foundations. Refreshing the bloodline directly from modern British kennels (such as Bayard), which dominate shows today, could bring back that proper "British foundation" to Czech Beagles, but in a modern, appealing package.
